Nicolas Kanellopoulos attended the annual meeting of EPLO Board of Directors

Nicolas Kanellopoulos, President of the Institute for Justice and Growth and Executive Director of the Institute for Privacy Law, Data Protection and Technology of the EPLO European Public Law Organization attended the annual meeting of its Board of Directors on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at the EPLO premises in Legraina, Sounio. The meeting brought together representatives of States, Universities, Public Authorities and International Organizations from across its global network.

EPLO Director Prof. Spyridon Flogaitis welcomed the participants and chaired the meeting. The Board reviewed a year of activity across the Organization’s four pillars: research, education & training, publications, and technical cooperation, and discussed the EPLO’s participation in international fora, its cooperation agreements, and prospects for future collaboration. The agenda also included the announcement of new Board members. Board members shared the conclusion that the year’s activity had been creative and fully consistent with the Organization’s purposes.

The EPLO was also delighted to welcome at its premises in Sounion, Mr Nikos Hardalias, Governor of Attica. During his visit, the Governor saw first-hand the recently upgraded EPLO facilities, supported by the Region of Attica through its investment in the modernization of the infrastructure across Legrena, Plaka and Kolonaki.
