Nicolas Kanellopoulos, Managing Partner of our Law Firm and Secretary General of the Hellenic-Ukrainian Commercial and Industrial Association, participated in a high-level Greek business delegation and officially represented NKLaw Firm at the Hellenic-Ukrainian Business Forum, held in Kyiv on June 2, organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Enterprise Greece SA.
The forum, hosted in the Ukrainian capital, brought together numerous officials, business leaders, and institutional representatives from Greece and Ukraine, who emphasized the significant role of Greece in the reconstruction of Ukraine. Key sectors highlighted during the discussions included energy, healthcare, digitalization, and infrastructure.
Prominent among the participants was the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion, Mr. Tasos Chatzivasileiou, who led the Greek delegation. The delegation included leading Greek companies operating in the fields of energy, construction, healthcare, and infrastructure, along with Mr. Dimitris Skalkos, Secretary General for International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from Enterprise Greece.
The delegation was formally received at the Ambassador’s residence by the Ambassador of Greece to Ukraine, Mr. Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos, and visited the Piraeus Bank branch in Kyiv, following an invitation by the CEO, Mr. Ioannis Kyriakopoulos.
Nicolas Kanellopoulos took the opportunity to present the mission and goals of the Hellenic-Ukrainian Commercial and Industrial Association in meetings with senior officials from key Ukrainian institutions, including the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Invest in Ukraine, as well as with representatives from several private enterprises.
The event concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Greece and Ukraine in the field of Health.
