We are proud to share that NKLAW FIRM was part of the official list of represented organizations at the Growthfund Investor Summit 2026, held on June 22, 2026 at Conrad Athens The Ilisian. Our Managing Partners, Nicolas Kanellopoulos and Chara Zerva, had the opportunity to meet and exchange views with representatives of the organizations and institutions participating in this high-level gathering, further strengthening our network at the intersection of law, investment, and public policy.
Now in its third year, the Growthfund Investor Summit — organized by Growthfund, the National Fund of Greece — has established itself as a leading forum convening global investors, sovereign wealth funds, senior policymakers, and industry leaders. This year’s theme, “Navigating the New Geoeconomic Order: Greece as a Strategic Hub for Capital and Growth,” set the stage for substantive discussions on Greece’s evolving role in the global investment landscape. The agenda covered critical infrastructure and energy connectivity, AI and deep tech, digital innovation, sustainable agro-biotechnology, and sovereign investment strategies — reflecting the breadth of opportunities shaping the future of the Eastern Mediterranean region.

The Summit was also marked by two landmark announcements. Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis announced that Growthfund (the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations) will be renamed to the National Development Fund , signaling a strategic shift in its mission — from asset management to serving as a catalyst for long-term growth and investment in the Greek economy.
In addition, the 40-year Concession Agreement for the development and operation of Kalamata International Airport “Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos” was officially signed during the Summit, between the Hellenic Republic, Growthfund, and the consortium of FRAPORT AG – Delta Airport Investments (Copelouzos Group) – Pileas Holdings (Constantakopoulos Group). The approximately €125 million investment will deliver a new terminal, expanded facilities, and a full modernization of the airport — transforming it into a next-generation international gateway for the Peloponnese. A Summit that confirmed Greece’s momentum as a strategic hub for capital, connectivity, and growth.
