In the context of the lawful and safe operation of the driver’s license renewal platform, our Law Firm carried out the design and development of the Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) of the processing operations the platform conducts. During the DPIA, our Firm provided recommendations and instructions regarding:
(a) an assessment of the necessity and proportionality of the processing operations in relation to the purposes;
(b) the assessment of risks related to citizens’ rights and freedoms;
(c) the technical and organisational measures to address the risks, including safeguards, security measures and mechanisms, to ensure the protection of personal data, taking into account the rights and legitimate interests of data subjects.
